Rhonda Spencer

Rhonda Jean Spencer is a Native American artist of the Snoqualmie (sdukʷ albixʷ) Indian Tribe. Rhonda’s inspiration comes from her enjoyment of hiking the many trails and mountains of Washington State. Always observing her connection to the earth when she is harvesting her tribe's traditional plants, foods and medicines, she says, "It is important to me that during my foraging, when I prepare traditional foods, and making medicines and crafts, that I give back to the creator for everything that is shared; for everything is connected.
