Curious and intelligent, these beautiful creatures stop in the Puget Sound on their journey between warmer breeding waters around Hawai’i and their winter feeding grounds in the Bering Sea. Although endangered, humpback whales are making an incredible comeback in recent years, and are often spotted in the region’s Salish Sea.
