Congratulations to our 2024 Inspired Natives Award Winner!

Each year, a portion of our sales funds our Inspired Natives® Award, which supports emerging Native artists of all mediums to help fund their projects or assist in developing business infrastructure (e-commerce, branding, equipment, and product development) to maximize their potential for success in the mainstream marketplace.

For our 2024 award, we asked our Inspired Natives® Collaborators to nominate an up-and-coming Native artist who could use a scholarship to further their cultural art. We had several very deserving candidates, which made our selection difficult, but we are excited to announce that the winner of our 2024 Inspired Natives® Award is Alishon Kelly (Blackfeet, Pend d’Oreille)!

2024 Inspired Natives® Award winner Alishon Kelly (Blackfeet, Pend d’Oreille)

Ali was nominated by Inspired Natives® Collaborator John Isaiah Pepion (Piikani/Blackfeet), and a look at her portfolio makes it easy to see why. At only 19 years old, Ali is an incredible multi-disciplinary artist. She works in traditional painting, ledger art, and digital design, while also designing stickers and creating regalia! Ali shares, “I’ve been making art since I was a kid, and my community has always been my biggest inspiration. There’s real strength and resilience that’s visible in every story and in every person. I see it in my own people, our land, and our culture every day, and I know it’s something shared by every Indigenous community. For that, I’m truly grateful. Lemlmts.”

Join us in congratulating Alishon, and be sure to check out her incredible work on Instagram!
