A flash of white stripes and a brown blur darts across the forest floor: it's a chipmunk, out looking for a lunch of fallen acorns and woodland berries. Snoqualmie artist Rhonda J. Spencer was inspired by an encounter with this chubby-cheeked forest friend to create her original painting, which we have reproduced as our archival-quality Forager Fine Art Print. "This cute little guy sat beside us, undisturbed, as we harvested berries and my husband scouted for hunting spots," shares Rhonda.
Rhonda often spends time in nature, no only foraging herself but also finding inspiration in the natural world around her. "Every time I go out in nature, it amazes me with its gems," says Rhonda. "Each harvesting experience is different, and I witness something new every time I am out in the woods. Many people are about conquering this mountain or that lake; but if you intentionally slow yourself down and see, you will witness so much more than another "check off" on your bucket list. When you slow down and be mindful, you let nature show you its gems."
Hang our Forager Fine Art Print where ever you need a reminder to slow down and enjoy the moment, or as a testament to the beauty of our beloved natural world.

Our Native-designed fine art prints are created in our studio on archival paper. This is one more example of our Native business taking back production so we can further invest in our artists and community!
Known as giclée prints (pronounced "zhe-clay"), our fine art prints are distinguished from mass-produced prints due to their quality, longevity, and value. We print using a state-of-the-art, large-format fine art printer in our Seattle-based art studio. Because they're printed on acid-free paper, our prints won't degrade over time, and when displayed out of direct sunlight will maintain their color saturation and fine detail for decades.
