Coast Salish Art
The Coast Salish tribes of the Pacific Northwest have lived in, worked on, and been land stewards of this region since time immemorial. Our tribal owners, the Snoqualmie Tribe (sdukʷalbixʷ in Lushootseed) are Coast Salish; and founder Louie Gong (Nooksack) is also from a Coast Salish tribe. This collection includes work by Eighth Generation's Coast Salish artists, showing a strong cross-community design connection while also highlighting each tribe's unique style and stories.
