Continue ShoppingWe were honored to receive nearly 60 submissions from artists all across Indian Country, and after careful deliberation, the Eighth Generation team has chosen 8 artists as this year's finalists.
As a community-engaged company, we recognize the role that community support and wisdom has played in getting us to where we are today. So while we are not interested in making this into a popularity contest, we do encourage you to show support for the finalists. And remember - the pieces below are samples of the artists' broader work, not proposed blanket designs - so you'll have to use your imagination!
We plan to make our final selection in mid-April. In the meantime, check out this awesome art and share with your networks!
David Robert Boxley - Tsimshian
Jared Yazzie - Diné
Carrielyn Victor - Sto:lo
Bobby Wilson - Sisseton-Wahpeton Dakota
Topah Spoonhunter - Northern Arapaho Tribe
Crystal Rose Worl - Tlingit and Athabascan
John Isaiah Pepion - Blackfeet Nation
Greg A. Robinson - Chinook Indian Nation

Jared Yazzie – diné – for sure, don’t know what everything means but i love the design and the colours, beautifull warm colours like a blanket should be.

So happy to see Crystal’s submission. I’ve been a fan since your Chinook days, Crystal!
