The Birch Bloom earrings pays homage to the beautiful tradition of birch bark etching. Characteristic of Howes' work, the Birch Bloom earrings carry forth the Ojibwe floral tradition of teaching about plants that care for the water, including wild taro, yellow flag and duckweed.
